Support Cantare Children's Choirs of Oakland
$60 brings one music lesson to an underserved Oakland classroom
$150 underwrites a year of music education for one child
$300 provides two rehearsals for one of our after-school choirs
Any amount advances Cantare's mission of promoting dignity and integrity in shaping a thriving future for our local communities, our nation and our world.

Opportunities to Support
Amazon Smile
You can support Cantare by shopping with Amazon Smile. Just follow this link and click Start Shopping, and Amazon will donate 0.5% of the price of all your eligible AmazonSmile purchases to Cantare Con Vivo. These dollars can add up significantly.
In-Kind Goods and Services
Your donation of office supplies, children’s snacks, flowers, wine, printing, design or consulting services in human resources, financial management, and marketing communications can help defray many of our ongoing expenses.
Company Matching Gifts
Many corporations will match their employee gifts to charitable organizations, effectively doubling or tripling your personal gift to CCV. Ask your employer if they have a matching gifts program or email the office for a list at info@cantareconvivo.org.
Donor Advised Funds
A donor-advised fund is a giving tool that charitable individuals use to tax-effectively consolidate, accrue, and grant assets to public charities. You can think of it as an investment account dedicated solely to your charitable giving. Donor-advised funds are managed by sponsoring organizations, which are themselves 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations. Sponsoring organizations generally fall into three categories: community foundations such as the East Bay Community Foundation, single-issue organizations, or national organizations, such as Vanguard Charitable. Cantare Con Vivo accepts Donor Advised Funds, and grants can be set up to recur monthly at your request.
Gifts of Stock
Gifts of stock or mutual funds are another way to give to CCV. You get an income tax deduction for the full fair market value of securities you have owned more than one year—subject to the usual limitations—and capital gains taxes will be completely avoided on these assets. Your contribution will help ensure the continued growth and success of our children’s music education programs, and the Chorale and offers potential tax savings. To initiate a transfer of securities please contact our office at 510.836.0789
Leave a Legacy
Embrace the opportunity to secure Cantare’s future, while ensuring that every year thousands more Oakland youth have access to the arts, and with that, the opportunity to find their voice as compassionate social change leaders. For more information about how to create your legacy gift, please contact us by phone at, 510.836.0789 or email us at info@cantareconvivo.org.
Beneficiary Designation
Some people prefer the increased flexibility that a beneficiary designation provides by using IRAs and retirement plans, Life insurance policies and Commercial annuities. You can name Cantare Con Vivo as a beneficiary in just a few easy steps: Contact your retirement plan administrator, insurance company, bank or financial institution for a change-of-beneficiary form. Decide what percentage you would like us to receive and name us, along with the percentage you chose, on the beneficiary form. Return the completed form to your plan administrator, insurance company, bank or financial institution. Our non-profit tax identification is 94-3151337.
